Supporting: Become a Man Up Partner for The Man Up Club

Campaign has ended.

Invest in the future of the young, black males of the Twin Cities.

The Man Up Club is more than a program, it’s a community that offers hope, love, and leadership. Designed to influence inner-city youth and urban culture, the mission of the Man Up Club is to develop boys into young men of character. We do this through one-on-one and group mentorship, educational activities, teaching them, supporting them, and connecting them into the community . The Man Up Club teaches young men life skills, social skills and perspective that promotes self-respect and value, responsibility, community engagement, integrity, academic discipline, social responsibility, and anti-violence as well as, how to be an influence to their peers.”

Our goal is to raise $100,000 to launch a Man Up drop-in Club House in North Minneapolis.

The Man Up drop-in center will provide one- on- one mentoring to 50 African American males between the age of 13 -20 years old per week.

Each day of the week will have a 10 person cohort of young men working together with mentors to receive hands-on leadership training helping them to help to develop and build their social skills, life skills, academic discipline, and civic responsibility.

Young men who become man up members will also be fed a daily meal and engage in constructive extra circular activities. All donations and contributions are tax-deductible.
