Supporting: Love Some1 with Glut1 2019 for Glut1 Deficiency Foundation

Hello, everyone.  Thank you very much for visiting my fundraising page during this year’s Love Some 1 with Glut 1 campaign for the Glut 1 Deficiency Foundation.  This year I have another movie for you to watch produced by my sister, Zoe.  It is not all about my Unified Basketball practice, like last year’s movie, but there is a little basketball featured, and I still get to play the starring role.  I hope you enjoy it!  Here is the link:

As you probably noticed, the movie is all about persistence, which is something I definitely have to work hard at to do most things I want to do.  I think my family also has to have a lot of persistence to keep helping me to be my best.  There is another group of special people that have a lot of persistence, and I am so glad that they have it.  They are the doctors and researchers who are trying to find new ways of treating Glut 1 Deficiency Syndrome.  I would give them all my persistence if I could.

I hope that you can participate in this year’s fundraising campaign in order to help my doctors and researchers, and at the same time help me and other kids with Glut 1 Deficiency Syndrome.  This year, all campaign donations will be used specifically for the Glut 1 Deficiency Foundation’s research grant award program.  That means that every dollar will fund the research of one of my persistent special people.

I am very grateful that so many people come together to help me and kids like me in different ways every day.  Please join us.  When we all work together, when we are persistent, we all can win and achieve our dreams.

The Love Some1 with Glut1 annual campaign is the primary awareness and fundraising event for the Glut1 Deficiency Foundation. It runs from February 14-28, Valentine's Day through Rare Disease Day, and it is an important opportunity to spread awareness and raise much-needed funds to help better serve the needs of the Glut1 community.

All donations support our mission programs, and this year, all proceeds from the campaign will be put to use specifically to boost amounts for the current cycle of our research grant award program.

Thank you for helping us reach our goal and continue to bring help and hope to the Glut1 community!
