That's right! The Baylies/Mansfield family is walking in the Gloucester Pride Stride once again! As always, we're doing so in support of an amazing organization that is near and dear to our hearts. Dogs, cats, and shelter life are a regular thing in our household. In fact, Everett and Tom visit me at work on Saturdays and Everett has taken to calling it 'where he works' and his jobs include 'feeding dogs, petting cats, and taking care of the animals'. Super cute!
Many of you know that Tom and I met while working at Cape Ann Animal Aid and I still work there today as Director of Development and Communications. We can all attest to the amazing work that happens at the organization. The team is incredibly passionate about enhancing the lives of dogs and cats in their care. The board is comprised of dedicated and motivated individuals putting animal welfare at the forefront of their focus. The volunteers arrive with enthusiasm, filling their spare time with hard work -- all in the name of helping animals! It's an amazing place to know and love and this is the time where I ask all of you, our friends and family, to pitch in a bit and help drive the important work forward.
Donations raised for Cape Ann Animal Aid through Gloucester Pride Stride will be earmarked for the Veterinary Care Fund. As one of the largest line items in our budget, veterinary care for homeless animals is vital. From routine to specialized medical care, your donation will be utilized almost immediately, granting animals with all they need to thrive. Thank you for supporting our family as we walk to support dogs and cats in need.
Love, Rebecca, Tom, and Everett
