Join us and 1,000 fellow walkers on Sunday, October 20 for the 23rd annual Hunger Walk, benefiting the Community Soup Kitchen and Outreach Center!
Participants will complete a 5K pledge walk through Morristown, raising funds for and increasing awareness about issues of poverty and hunger in our community. Walkers will follow along with guests' stories and experiences to gain a better understanding of what it means to walk in their shoes.
The Community Soup Kitchen and Outreach Center has provided two hot, nutritious meals a day every day for 35 years, and re-distributes thousands of pounds of fresh produce through our weekly Free Farmers Markets. Though we are primarily known for our work combatting hunger, it is far from the only service we offer. The Outreach Center provides many services to help our guests move forward and lead healthy, fulfilling lives. Services include housing and job assistance, health screenings, mental health counseling immigration and legal services, and many more! All this is possible through your hard work and generous support.
Set up your fundraising team page and register here. Day-of registration begins at 1 p.m., with festivities getting underway at 1:30 p.m. We can't wait to see you there!
