David Young-Celebrity Dancer

I was born and raised in Livingston Montana. Husband Michael, three children, Taylor, Carson and Miles.  I was in the Banking profession for close to 20 years when I decided to make a career transition and become a Barber.  I moved to Billings close to three years ago and currently own and operate Michael David Barber.

Why did you want to participate in this event?

I have attended several of the Dancing with the Stars events and have always thought to myself how fun it would be to perform at this event. The opportunity presented itself, and I decided to throw my name in the hat.

One interesting fact about you that most people don't know.

Growing up I was part of a local rodeo club located within our three county region. I was All Around Cowboy for several seasons, participating in goat-tail tying, pole bending, barrel racing, sheep riding, and roping.

Who is a senior in you life that has been an inspiration to you, Why?

My Grandfather, Wally O’Hara has always been an inspiration to me and my family.  At 94 years old, he reminds me everyday that age is just a number. You are only as old as you feel.

Patricia Lambert-Instructor

Patricia Lambert is the owner of Dancing With Patricia, LLC.  Patricia first fell in love with partner dance in the eighth grade when she and her now husband, Jarrett Lambert, performed together for the first time to “Tale As Old As Time” from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

After studying locally and nationally with a variety of instructors in ballroom, Latin, swing, and country, and having assisted in organizing dance classes and events beginning in 2010, Patricia began teaching regularly in the Billings community in 2012.

Nationwide training in dance, dance education, private and large group coaching techniques, and dance physiology, as well as her degree with specialization in education, have provided Patricia an ability to work with a broad spectrum of learning styles, physical limitations, and abilities. Her studio emphasizes two specialties: west coast swing and training with wedding couples.  Patricia’s SwingKidz program is in its fourth season and is open to students ages three to twenty-four, and her adult program ranges to all ages and ability levels.

This is Patricia's 5th year as an instructor for Dancing with the Big Sky Stars.

Who is a senior in your life that have been an inspiration to you, why?

My grandparents were my best friends growing up... I learned about cooking, crocheting, knitting, and coffee dates from my grandma, and I loved beach time and watching the history channel with my grandpa.  They were a huge part of my childhood and growing up!

We are dancing in honor of Arlene, a Big Sky Senior Services client.

Arlene is very sweet and has a very fun and energetic dog, Benji. She has lived in her home for 34 years.

She was an RN at St V’s and retired after working there for 33 years. She has volunteered for Meals on Wheels, at the Western Heritage Center and currently volunteers for Adult Resource Alliance as a tax consultant.

She recently had surgery and credits Big Sky Senior Services for helping her recover as quickly as she did. She receives homemaking services from Big Sky Senior Services. It is an honor to dance for Arlene.
