Supporting: 2020 Trailmixer Climb Fundraiser at Mount Shasta for Trailmixer - OUT Hiking for Our Community

During Summer 2020, I will be trekking in support of the LGBTQ+ Youth Community at the Trailmixer Charity Climbing Event on Mount Shasta.

From July 17-19, I will be hiking up the Cascade beauty known as Mt. Shasta -- with an elevation of 14,179 feet (4321.8 m), it is the second-highest peak in the Cascades and the fifth highest in California.

You can do your part to motivate me getting my arse up that mountain by making a donation to help fund a scholarship program for Camp Brave Trails - a summer camp specifically developed for LGBTQ+ kids. Your donation will make a real difference in the outdoor programming available to many new kids so thank you!

(...and in case you are wondering I will be paying for all of my own expenses/lodging etc. out of my own pocket; as will the other climbers for themselves. 100% of donations made here by you lovely people will go to directly to Camp Brave Trails.)

Thank you for your support,

Hello from the Trailmixer Team!

OUT Hiking for Our Community (Trailmixer)* is an organization of hikers that promote climbing events every year to raise funds for LGBTQ+ organizations. In 2020 Trailmixer’s 3-Day Climbing Fundraiser will be from July 17-19 at Mount Shasta. We are super excited to journey up this volcanic Cascade beauty – get your hiking boots on. At an elevation of 14,179 feet (4321.8 m), it is the second-highest peak in the Cascades and the fifth highest in California.

This Summer’s climb is helping fund the Camp Brave Trails scholarship program for underserved LGBTQ+ kids from all over the US. Trailmixer believes in the importance of helping kids engage with other LGBTQ+ youth.

Throughout the year, Trailmixer's members and volunteers participate in leadership workshops and community events to help provide kids with tools and skills to grow up with the confidence that they can be whoever they want to be in our society. We are working on developing new nature programs and activities with other factions of the LGBTQ+ community. Our work will grow more with your help.

So will you do it? Will you support us?

In order to maximize your donation, each climber will cover his/her own costs for travel, lodging, food and gear for this event.

In the name of all the participants and partners of Trailmixer, we thank you.

Trailmixer Team.
