Nathan's Journey

Campaign has ended.
Rare has a certain connotation to it. When you hear the word it evokes a sense of something extra special and exclusive. In Nathan's case it means dealing with a condition that is still not fully understood and coping with treatments that limit what he can do. We stand with the Glut 1 Deficiency Foundation this year from Feb 14th Valentine's Day to Feb 29th Rare Disease Day to raise money to increase awareness, research and treatment options for those suffering with Nathan's condition. There is always a hope for a cure and an even better hope for a better treatment plan with Glut 1. We have seen continued evidence that there are possibilities to expand research and find an answer to Glucose Transporter Type 1 Deficiency. If you know Nathan, then you know how much he loves everyone around him. No one is a stranger and he is always a fan of anyone he meets. He's the worlds cheerleader and he's got that mat talk down! We ask, now, for you to be his and support this fundraiser. No amount is too small and, I guarantee, goes to amazing cause that will further extensive research and spearhead new avenues of treatment for Nathan and the many others with Glut 1. From our family to yours, thank you for the deepest part of our hearts!
The Love Some1 with Glut1 annual campaign is the signature awareness and fundraising event for the Glut1 Deficiency Foundation, running from February 14-29, Valentine's Day through Rare Disease Day. It is an important opportunity to educate others and raise much-needed funds to help better serve the needs of our patient community through our mission programs for increased awareness, improved education, advocacy for patients and families, and support and funding for research.
