Miss Carrollton's Outstanding Teen

Supporting: Competition Magazine Showcase Pages for Miss Texas Organization

Hi everyone I am Kennedy Hardeman, Miss Carrollton’s Outstanding Teen!

This year the Miss Texas Organization has scheduled their state competition for June 20-26 2021. Unfortunately because of the COVID-19 virus, the competition was postponed. But we are not going to let that get us down. All of us have overcame many things, but it is important that we continue keep ourselves in the right mindset and continue to work at the things we love to do.

This year the Social Impact that I will be bringing to the OT competition this year is “The Power of a Positive & Healthy Mindset”. My social impact focuses on teaching others how to form and maintain a healthy yet balanced mindset. In the past, I constantly told myself I could not do something or that I was not capable of a handling a specific task when it came to learning new things. I used to send my brain into destruction mode, tearing down my self-confidence which in return caused me to not attempt to learn or preform any task to the best of my ability.

These specific things is what help me form this social impact to help others understand that they can do anything as long as they set a mindset that consist of only motivational thoughts to get them through their day.

During this time we need to continue to stay positive and STAY HEALTHY.

As a component of helping me achieve my goal of becoming Miss Texas’ Outstanding Teen, I am raising money to help fund the Miss Texas Scholarship Program. The funds will be received by the Texas Cares for Children Program and will also be a contribution to other Miss Texas’ OT contestants.

No matter how big or small your donation COUNTS!

Each year, the Miss Texas Organization is proud to present the Miss Texas Competition Magazine. This magazine is made available for advertisement by businesses, families and volunteers who want to promote their company, show support and wish their competing candidate Good Luck by purchasing a Magazine Showcase Page.

Our magazine is seen by tens of thousands across the nation, is sold all year long and is a popular coffee table accessory that may be viewed through out the year. Each candidate competing for the job of Miss Texas or Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen, sets a goal of how many magazine showcase pages she wants dedicated just to her. Thank you in advance for your support.

We are grateful for your donation and support to Miss Texas Scholarship Organization.
