I am Celeste Lay, Miss Fort Worth's Outstanding Teen 2020. I am a junior at Robert E. Lee High School where I am a part of the Southern Belle Drill Team, Good Vibrations auditioned choir, musical theater and student council. This year I have the honor of representing the great city of Fort Worth at the 2020 Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen competition. I love this organization because it has given me the opportunity to share my personal platform, Chosen. Raising Awareness of Adoption as a Choice. My birthparents were teenagers when I was born. They knew that raising a baby at their age was going to be life altering so they chose to give me a life that would allow me to become who I am today. My adoptive family had been trying to create a family for three years and went through multiple miscarriage's. Because of adoption, I am surrounded by the love of two families. My birth family and adopted family. Every adoption story is unique and when I share my story, I want others to feel the love and compassion that I feel. This is something that is essential to my life and I want others to be aware of this choice.
During the week of competition, the Miss Texas Organization sells competition magazines where families, friends and all types of businesses can purchase an ad page to promote themselves. This not only helps to promote business, but it also shows the families, friends and businesses love and support for their contestant. Each donation and/or purchase of an ad page is not only supporting me as a contestant, but providing scholarships for students around Texas.
The opportunities I have been given this year are so incredible and I am so thankful for everyone's support! If you would like to donate or purchase an ad page, any amount would be appreciated and I would feel so loved and blessed. Feel free to follow my social media accounts for Instagram (@missfortworthsot) and Facebook (@Celeste Lay)!
Each year, the Miss Texas Organization is proud to present the Miss Texas Competition Magazine. This magazine is made available for advertisement by businesses, families and volunteers who want to promote their company, show support and wish their competing candidate Good Luck by purchasing a Magazine Showcase Page.
Our magazine is seen by tens of thousands across the nation, is sold all year long and is a popular coffee table accessory that may be viewed through out the year. Each candidate competing for the job of Miss Texas or Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen, sets a goal of how many magazine showcase pages she wants dedicated just to her. Thank you in advance for your support.
