Supporting: Competition Magazine Showcase Pages for Miss Texas Organization

Girls Authenticating Girls is the campaign I have created for the purpose of running for Miss Texas. As a freshman in college, more than ever before I see the need for girls to support one another. I didn’t have my true girl gang growing up, but after a year at TCU, I believe I have finally found my best friends. They are supporting, uplifting, and always there for me. After experiencing this love, I have felt called to do my part so that every girl can find their best friends. In the 21st century, girls have proved we can be absolutely anything we set our minds to be; from CEO to queen housewife, we truly are who makes the world go round. Girls Authenticating Girls is a platform to help recognize all that we can do, and to continue achieving all these great things with the support of other girls. The one thing that I believe is most beneficial for a girl to have is confidence, and this stems from feeling beautiful, inside and out, and being healthy. GAG will focus on these elements, through runs for girls, fashion shows, and Bible studies. I hope to partner with organizations such as National Charity League and donate time and money to their annual fashion show. A highly supported philanthropy on the TCU campus is Girls on the Run, and I would love to get GAG connected with them. My main goal is to encourage and be a light on women fixing each other’s crowns!

Each year, the Miss Texas Organization is proud to present the Miss Texas Competition Magazine. This magazine is made available for advertisement by businesses, families and volunteers who want to promote their company, show support and wish their competing candidate Good Luck by purchasing a Magazine Showcase Page.

Our magazine is seen by tens of thousands across the nation, is sold all year long and is a popular coffee table accessory that may be viewed through out the year. Each candidate competing for the job of Miss Texas or Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen, sets a goal of how many magazine showcase pages she wants dedicated just to her. Thank you in advance for your support.
