ABOUT Essence of a Lady, Inc

A school and community-based 501(c)3 nonprofit that recruits and trains women to become philanthropists to help educate, mentor, and empower school-age girls! In addition, when women become philanthropists with Essence of a Lady, Inc, we utilize our connections to provide tools, resources, and connections to help them LEVERAGE their business or nonprofit. We are celebrating over 27 years of Philanthropy in May 2016!! In this time, we have provided YELL! programs for over 1000 girls in 3 states, public, private and charter schools, and community agencies. Finally, through our annual Females are FABULOUS Scholarship, we have presented 11 scholarships totaling $4300 since June 2012!! Our goal is to offer 10 scholarships valued at $10,000 ($1000/girl) in May 2017! This year, we have 3 YELL! Seniors and we need a minimum of $1500 to help them in their first year of college!!
