Here’s what you need to know to prepare:

• BYOB! We are celebrating the one-year anniversary publication of Parenting for Liberation: A Guide for Raising Black Children as well as a SOLD OUT first print. So Bring Your Own Book to get your exclusive copy signed by Trina. Very limited copies will be available for purchase.

• Honor your ancestors. We invite you to bring a photo of your ancestors to add to our community altar. This book is for all of us because this movement to raise liberated children is for all of us. And so we will honor those who came before us by pouring libations at the event and calling out their names.

• Honor your neighbor. While the world is slowly opening back up, this event is a masked event. Please wear your masks at all times while inside the venue. Here are the ways we are committed to keeping you safe:

• Temperature checks upon entrance at the check-in table

• Socially distanced seating

• Hand sanitizer in common areas

• Honor yourself. This is a celebration for all of us! Relax, have a good time, and enjoy the program!
