Dear Friend of York Street Project,

Thank you for answering our call during our year-end annual appeal and generously supporting the women, children, and families of York Street Project.  We are so grateful there are compassionate people in the world who continue to give from a place of caring for others.

A lot has changed in our world in the last twelve months. There is not a single family globally or locally that has not been affected by this global pandemic. While we all have felt adrift in trying to navigate this "new normal" there are many who's circumstances were in peril prior to this major ripple.

If we look at the mass of all who are affected, we are frozen in place and it can be overwhelming. But you did not freeze. You acted. You are making a difference for a mother and her child. One family at a time.

As the nights become colder, ensuring that homeless and low-income families have ample food and a warm place to stay becomes so much more evident. But, through your help, York Street Project is so much more than just that. It is a safe and secure place to live, a sanctuary of healing, a center to entrust your children while you are at work or school, a place to learn life skills that will carry you through your journey toward independence…and above all, York Street Project is a place to call home.

On behalf of our Board of Trustees, our staff, and especially the women, children, and families we serve, I thank you for helping us to navigate all the changes leading us into this new this year. We are so grateful that you believe in our mission to serve each and every "one" who comes to us.

In gratitude, wellness, and peace,

Christine Kane Perez
