We are BEYOND excited to announce the most important news we could every hope for, the news that David Moore has officially checked out of the hospital and is headed home! Praise God for David, for the doctors, his family, and all of the amazing supporters who continued to lift him up these last days with passionate prayers! Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow!
In other news, we also want to announce, thanks to the generosity of our Team Kara Supporters, David has EXCEEDED his $20,000 goal, with total donations standing at $20,172k, officially 101%, meaning the Kara Moore Servant Scholarship Fund is officially endowed and will be able to award a $1000 scholarship to a worthy servant leader beginning May 2023! THANK YOU, TEAM KARA SUPPORTERS!

David Moore underwent a successful surgery today to repair some damaged ribs he suffered from his bike accident on Sunday evening. The surgeon described him as doing exceptionally well during surgery, which is what we expect from the IronMan we know David is! Thanks to this successful surgery, David is now one step closer on his road to full recovery. Thanks for the incredible support and encouragement you continue to show to David and his family, and we'll continue to keep you posted.

To our Team Kara supporters,
We have an important update to share. After setting a personal record in the 2.5 swim and while cycling at a personal record pace for over 100 miles, near the very end of the cycling course yesterday evening, David was involved in a significant bike accident that required medical attention. David is safely recovering right now at Erlanger medical center in Chattanooga, and though a little banged up and sporting some serious “road rash,” is on the road to recovery. Keep sending positive prayers and great vibes his way, and we’ll continue to provide updates on his progress.
