Information for Planning Your Christmas in Salem Weekend November 29, 2022

Christmas in Salem weekend is fast approaching. This email is being sent to provide information about the tour and help you in your planning. 


Tickets:
Additional tickets can still be purchased online at presale prices until midnight on Friday, Dec. 3. www.christmasinsalem.org. Day of tickets can be purchased online or in person for $45.

Picking up Guidebooks:
Friday Early Pickup Option -- From 10am-4pm on Friday, Dec. 2 at 9 North Street. Please bring your receipt (electronic or paper) and use the back door of the building.


Saturday and Sunday -- Tour Headquarters is at Landworks Studios, 83 North Street. You can pick up your guidebook, which will include a map of the tour houses and provide access to the tour houses. Please bring your receipt for quicker processing. We will also have a list of ticket purchasers if needed.

Pick up your guidebook, or ask any questions, at 83 North Street on Saturday, December 4, 10:30am-4pm and Sunday, December 5, 11:30am-4pm.


Restrooms: 
There are restrooms available at the tour headquarters, 83 North Street. Private homes on the tour will not be available as public restrooms.


Parking:
There is short term parking on Commercial Street for those picking up guidebooks. There is ample street parking on or near Buffum and Dearborn Streets. Please be aware of driveways and other neighborhood parking considerations. Signs may be posted indicating that there is no parking on Dearborn Street on Saturday after 6pm, so please remove your car quicky after the tour hours end. 

Pedestrian access:
It is approximately an 1/2 mile walk from downtown to the Northfields neighborhood.

Shuttle:
We are attaching the shuttle route to this email, this map also indicated approximate locations of the tour houses for your reference. You may catch the shuttle from downtown near the corner of North and Essex Streets, just tell the driver that you are headed to Christmas in Salem.
