Tuesday October 12 Meditations:
EAST TEMPLE —David Parks will hold a cushion for you in the East Temple, from 7-8am EDT (or 4-5am PDT), to sit with a Mystery Koan
EAST KOAN —The Heart of the One Who Asks: Mujaku was widowed at 32. She couldn’t get over her grief and became a nun. She asked the teacher Bukko, “What is Zen?” Bukko replied, “The heart of the one who asks is Zen; you can’t get it from someone else’s words.”
WEST TEMPLE —Eduardo Fuentes will welcome you in the West Temple, from 6-7am PDT (or 9-10am EDT), with Mystery Koan.
WEST KOAN — Linji's True Person: There is a true person of no rank always coming and going through the portals of your face
