IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - SNOW TUBING 2/25/23 February 24, 2023
Good afternoon,
Unfortunately we have to cancel our snow tubing Adventure Experience tomorrow. Due to unseasonably warm weather, Perfect North is unable to make enough snow for the tubing slopes and is not sure that they can by tomorrow. They still haven't made a final decision and won't make one until 8am tomorrow. Due to the amount of students coming and the logistics (van rental, food order, administrative tasks, etc.) we felt it was important to make the decision sooner than later so you can make alternate plans for this evening or tomorrow.
We know that this can be disappointing. We are bummed that we can't go as well. However, we are going to offer ice skating as an alternative. We invite your Trailblazer to join us from 11-1 tomorrow at RiverScape MetroPark Ice Rink for ice skating, hot cocoa, and snacks. Admission, skate rental, and treats are covered. We will meet at the benches in front of the rental building.
Please let us know that you received this email as well as if your Trailblazer will be joining us for ice skating. You can do so by texting us at (937) 802-0801. You can also email us at [email protected]
Once again, we are bummed that we are unable to go tomorrow. Hopefully your Trailblazer will be able to join us for ice skating.
Respectfully,
Jonathan Slider
Lead Adventurer

Good morning,
We continue our Winter Adventure Experiences this Saturday with a winter hike. We will be hiking at Sugarcreek MetroPark this Saturday from noon to 2pm. We will hike the Orange trail and will provide snacks. It's a great opportunity to experience the outdoors in a different setting and activity. We ask that your Trailblazer come prepared as the temps will be in the 30s. We will provide winter hats, gloves, and neck warmers in the event some participants do not have any.
We are excited for our upcoming snow tubing adventures. We are at max capacity for both the 11th and the 25th, with some Trailblazers registered for both weeks. We know how fun snow tubing can be and we want to make sure that as many Trailblazers as possible have the opportunity to participate. If your Trailblazer is registered for both we ask that you choose either the 11th or the 25th to join us. Please email [email protected] to notify us as to which date you'd prefer to keep NO LATER than Friday, February 3rd. If you choose the 11th we will put your Trailblazer on a waitlist for the 25th. If we have spots available the week of the 25th we will notify you in the order of the waitlist. In the event that we do not hear from you, we will cancel your registration for the 25th in order to open up spots. We will not open registration for the 25th till after our adventure on the 11th just in case of weather.
Thank you for understanding and helping us provide outdoor adventure to as many Trailblazers as possible.
See you on the trail!

ICE SKATING CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER December 15, 2022
Good morning,
We regretfully have to cancel our ice skating Adventure Experience this morning. Due to the ice rink being open air it has been exposed to warm temps, making it hard to keep frozen. The high winds this morning will also cause the Trailblazers' experience to be less than ideal. Thank you for understanding and we will be right back at it next Saturday, weather permitting.
