Hi Everyone,

Wanted to address a few things about tomorrow's tee times:

- If you don't see your name listed, we had a little confusion with the overall registration process and the fact that the Friday Fundraising/Practice Round was a separate registration selection than the tournament registration, so if you only selected Tournament registration, you were not included in the tee times for Friday.

- If the above describes you, it's ok, show up, be flexible and we will get a spot for you to play.

- The picture of the tee times is a bit messy, but its accurate, we've had a lot of requests, changes and additions today.  Also, there are spots without names listed, please don't assume those are open spots and you can change or fill in.  We have a lot of local members committed to play who are assigned to those spots, their names just didn't make this sheet.

- Local members are financially supporting our event, show them a great time and show off some one-armed skills:)  

- Scramble format for tomorrows play, you can learn the course playing scramble with your team, plus the members will be a great resource for local knowledge of the course.

Hi NAOAGA Family,

Few days away from the 2024 Winter Regional.  This will be NAOAGA's first partners as well as adding a Sr Division, should be a lot of fun!

We have 42 players registered and 25 friends and family joining us, solid turnout.

For those signed up for Friday Fundraising/Practice round, we are planning to pair a few members with a few local people signed up to financially support our event.  Tee times start at 9:30 am.  We don't have set groups at the moment, so if will be in the area early, show up early and be ready to play in one of the earlier tee times, if you are traveling in that morning, get there when you can and plan to play in the later tee times.  

Welcome reception for everyone will be at 6:30 Friday evening.  We will cover the rules of play and share the tee times for Saturday. We will also send out an email Friday evening with Saturday pairings.  Sunday tee times are all 8:30 Shotgun and groups will be selected based on play from Saturday.

Hospitality Suite will be open Friday evening after the welcome reception and the room # will be emailed out on Friday!

Checking the weather, looks pretty good Friday and Saturday, with rain possible for Sunday, so bring your rain gear!

One week away from the 2023 Winter Regional!

We will have our largest field ever for a NAOAGA tournament with 68, which includes 8 Jr's, with ages ranging from 13 to 88 yrs old and playing ability from a +1 to a 38 handicap.   I believe we have 13 first timers and most of our founding members.  We are aware of two film crews, one golf publication and at least three players who are active on social media, so wear your Sunday best, you might end up on camera!   What an amazing group we have coming together!

As a reminder, the fundraising scramble/practice round is a 12:30 shotgun start.  We are working on the pairing, blending players with members of the club who are financially supporting our organization, we will have those ready when you show up.

We will have the Saturday pairings available Friday evening at the welcome reception, starts at 6:30pm

Sunday pairings will be set based on scores from Saturday. 

The rest of the information will be provided at the welcome reception as well as the hotel room # for the hospitality room.

Weather looks decent, as always, prepare for the worst and make sure to bring your rain gear, you never know.

The 2023 Winter Regional will be the largest NAOAGA event in our history, over 50 members registered and 9 Jr's, projecting over 60 players, amazing!

We made an oversight on the registration; we didn't provide a place to notify us if you will be joining in on the fundraising scramble/practice round on Friday!

We will be playing with members of the country club and you will likely have one member in your group, but if you have a preference of another NAOAGA member or two to play with on Friday, indicate that as well.

Hope everyone is well and you are getting some warmer weather to get out on the course.

One of our members, just getting back to golf after the WR noticed he is missing his Callaway Rogue 7 iron.  He called the club, its not there.  So he was wondering if it got into someone else's bag.  If you are one of the players who hasn't dusted the clubs off since the WR, can you do a quick check of your bag for his 7 iron?

What an amazing weekend, unbelievable energy with 64 players and so many guests supporting us.  

Reminder to thank Xander Dobreff for setting the tournament up at his club and fundraising to offset the cost of the tournament for all of us!

Quick reminder to post your tournament scores on the GHIN system, we do not do that for you!  Make sure to adjust any holes that your score was higher than what is allowed to be posted for handicap purposes.

We will be sending the scores in for the USAGR and WR4GD systems.
