Making contributions can happen in more ways than one.

In December 2021 #BIKES4ERP launched a logo redesign competition. This compromised of creating a new logo that captures the essence of #BIKES4ERP and what our initiative represents. We aim to empower children to have a better means of transportation to and from school, which in turn helps them to improve their school marks while motivating them to attend school more regularly. The winner of this logo competition would win a #BIKES4ERP bicycle, just like the one the children receive.

We were amazed by the  number of creative submissions and how many different perspectives came about on how to capture our vision and mission. After hours of debating between our social media team, we identified three logo designs that captured each part of #BIKES4ERP.

Out of the three we had to choose a winner and it came down to one. Jozann Germishuys really took the logo challenge to heart and captured our initiative with all it’s beauty in her design. Yesterday we had the privilege to hand over the prize bicycle to Jozann in the presence of a handful of #BIKES4ERP team members.
This prize winning logo will be used for our internal team logo and branding.

Thank you Jozann for this amazing design and for capturing who we are to a tee!

Here is a beautiful testimony written by Lethabo, a grade 8 student in the Sesabe Village, thanking #BIKES4ERP that they mobilized him for a brighter future:
