Can you help table at Tomato Fest this Saturday, August 10th from 4-6:30 pm? You will need to be very knowledgeable about what can and cannot be recycled in Nashville's curbside recycling program and be able to answer questions about that. You will also need to be somewhat knowledgeable about at-home composting and the Tennessee Environmental Council in general. If you are comfortable with these things and would like to volunteer please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We can offer you a reusable cotton produce bag, bamboo toothbrush or bumper sticker for helping out. Thank you!
What: Volunteer with us to restore Lytle Creek! Learn how to use cedar revetments to control erosion, reduce flooding, and reforest Tennessee. This is a hands-on opportunity to positively impact our local watersheds in a sustainable way.
Can you volunteer for a few hours at our annual fundraiser? There are several shifts available. Each shift is 3 hours long and consists of either helping us set up, keep an eye on auction items, direct attendees to the party tent or help us break down the event. Volunteers will receive a meal. You will get a chance to participate in the event either before or after your shift.
Our fundraiser, Green Tie, will be held at the Nashville Zoo, 3777 Nolensville Pike Nashville, 37211
We request that you dress in business casual or party attire and wear comfortable shoes.
