Dear All,We just wanted to send a heartfelt thanks for your support of our COVID-19 Campaign to support homeschooled students in need, and let you know what we were able to do with your donations.To date, we've raised $2,095.00 from individual donors like yourselves, and an additional $2,500.00 in grant money the Rotary Club of Morristown. Although we're not done putting that money to use during this pandemic, we wanted to provide an interim report. So far, we've:1) Provided 2 Chromebooks to Family Promise of Morris County, who can keep these to provide web access for any of their families that may need it for distance learning;2) Provided a set of homeschool supplies including notebooks, folders, pencils, and markers to 38 families served by Family Promise, many of whom have more than one student;
3) Provided a set of supplies for younger children to 26 families served by Head Start of Morris County; and4) Provided a set of supplies to 4 families served by St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Morristown.Although we still have more to do, that's our update for now! If any of you have information on a family that may have a need right now, please email us at [email protected].Thanks again!Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay home,Jen and Annie------Jen Scarpati & Annie PetersCo-FoundersProject ReadinessMountain Lakes, NJ 07046Phone: 973-265-0129
