Artist Description: Both fled wars in their countries and began new lives in the New World, both are from the Middle East. They share the same language but have different traditions. They share the same food but have different educations. They went through very similar traumatic experiences and yet have a lot of different ones too. They are survivors, they are friends. Part of The Refugee series.
