A formal “pinning ceremony” to honor transplant and VAD recipients and their caregivers is part of the Holiday Celebration. Transplant Anniversary and LVAD Pins are presented to individuals when they have reached special milestone years. These include year’s 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30. The recipient may select who they wish to “pin” them.
