Sub-Saharan Africa has some of the lowest electrification rates around the world. We have worked with partners across the continent from South Africa, to Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Mozambique and Djibouti to get solar light into the hands of students so they can read and study at night; increasing their chances of staying in school, passing through to the next grade and graduating by 30%.
