Welcome to the Team Max Spin 4 Kids fundraising page! We hope that you'll consider making a donation towards “Team Max” or even create your own fundraising page to help us reach our team goal as well as to honor the fight of Maxwell Holden who battled neuroblastoma (a cancer of the sympathetic nervous system and the most common cancer found in infants). "Born on March 18th, 1999…from the minute Hannah was born, it seemed as though she had a job to do…curious from her first moments, she didn’t sleep much, always much too interested in what was going on around her. Her curiosity and zest for life from a very young age was incredible. She was a crazy kid…loved getting dirty, always outside riding her bike & skateboard, climbing trees, and building forts…a tomboy for sure! And as she grew from a young child to a beautiful teenager, that spirit never left her.
Hannah was an incredible young woman…she was funny, wicked smart, a gifted athlete, a fiercely loyal friend, and the BEST big sister to her beloved little brother Robbie.
Hannah passed away on September 26, 2013 at the age of 14, following a year-long battle with brain cancer. But, she never let cancer define her, and was determined to live her best life, for however long that may have been. Two weeks after brain surgery, not only was she back on the soccer field, but she scored the winning goal in double overtime for her middle school team.
It was at that moment she showed the world that no matter what life throws at you, give it your best and NEVER EVER GIVE UP.
Hannah's spontaneous nature, kind soul and contagious laugh are what are missed most. Her spirit and her positive attitude in the worst of times have brought out the best in so many people.
On the night Hannah died, I said these words..."live with no regrets, love with compassion, be kind, and never ever give up that fighting spirit"... If you live those simple words, you will honor our beautiful Hannah because that is how she lived her life…
Her greatest wish was to be remembered, and at 14 years old, she IS being remembered…not for how she died, but because of how she lived." - Sue (Hannah's Mama)
About Infinite Love
Infinite Love is a 100% volunteer-run 501c3 nonprofit foundation with the dual missions of 1) funding new pediatric cancer research (click here for an itemized list of what we've already funded), and 2) providing financial and emotional support to families currently fighting childhood cancer. Because there are no Infinite Love salaries, everything that you give goes entirely to our cause! Thanks to generous supporters like you, since 2013 we have funded over $1 million in research grants to some of our country's leading research hospitals and facilities and we've written thousands of dollars of support checks to childhood cancer families, given backyard makeovers, sent kids to sports events, built dream tree houses and we’ve unfortunately even covered the expenses for memorials (click here to read reviews about Infinite Love).
Please note that this Team Hannah page is raising funds for Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer where 100% of the proceeds will be used to fund research and to help families affected by childhood cancer. This fundraising page is not raising funds for Hannah's family directly.
