
Public Lands Day Cleanup in Brighton Heights
Join us Saturday, September 23rd in partnership with Public Lands https://www.publiclands.com/ to give back to the places we love and stick around to celebrate National Public Lands Day with food, drinks, and fun for the whole family!
Plus, all volunteers who register will receive a commemorative t-shirt!
Allegheny Cleanways will be leading a clean-up of dumpsites near Riverview Park that impact the Wood's Run watershed and Ohio River.

All volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes or boots, long pants, long sleeves and a hat are encouraged to protect from poison ivy, ticks, and sunburn. Please be advised these cleanups are messy. Don't wear anything you don't want ruined. There are times we are working on steep hillsides, in alleyways, on abandoned lots or near waterways. Bring extra clothing as you may want to add layers, loose layers or change after the cleanup. We will provide work gloves and all other necessary tools and materials. Please be sure to bring your filled reusable water bottle!
