2264 Hayward Ln. Spring Hill, TN 37174
This event will take place on Friday, September 17 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. To ensure the health and safety of staff and volunteers we will be limiting the number of participants for this event so, be sure to sign up as soon as possible.
By planting a diverse assortment of native trees, we will extend the riparian zone along Grassy Branch Creek. Healthy riparian zones play an instrumental role in the health of a stream by reducing the amount of sediment and nutrient pollution entering the creek through stormwater runoff, controlling the rate of erosion, decreasing flood velocity downstream, and creating habitat for a variety of wildlife.
What to bring:
Please be sure to bring a face mask, plenty of water, and a desire to make a positive environmental impact. TEC will provide all necessary tools, sunscreen, and bug spray.
