Paddle MO Ozarks 2023

Join us for the Paddle MO event that will take you on a unique 3-day journey down 25 miles of the upper Current River, our nation's first National Scenic Riverway. With lead on-water educators Bill and Jody Miles of Earth's Classroom, we will discover the river, get immersed in nature, explore historic sites, and visit with experts along the way.  The optional arrival day is Friday, October 13th. The paddle will occur Saturday-Monday, October 14-16.  If you arrive on Saturday October 14th, you will need to check-in by 8:30 AM. 

Headquarters for Paddle MO Ozarks 2023 will be at Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort near Cedar Grove.  Lodging options at Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort include campsites, camper sites, glamping cabins, a glamping tent, and 2 and 3 bedroom cabins.   Reservations for campsites and cabins are being done through the trip registration, so please don't call the resort to reserve your lodging option - just sign up for your choice when you register for the trip! Glamping cabin rates are $113.33/night for a 1 bedroom primitive/glamping cabin. For campers, primitive tent sites are $16.42/night and 30 Amp Electric or 50 Amp Electric sites are $50.67/night.  Cabins are $226/night for a 2 bedroom + living room sleeper cabin and $313 per night for a 3 bedroom + living room sleeper cabin. There is also a large glamping tent (the Lotus Belle Tent), that can be heated and sleeps up to 8 people, and can be reserved for $100 per night. Prefer to pay by check/mail and save the processing fee, use the paper registration form. 

Please do not reserve campsites or cabins through the resort website. Please select your lodging option and pay for your lodging option through our trip registration page. 

Most participants bring their own canoe or kayak. But if you need a boat, just let us know and we can help find one for you to rent or borrow.
