Project Pajamas

Thank you to our community for helping us collect 3,398 pairs of pajamas to pass on last year!

New PJs are a luxury that many Tustin area families cannot afford.  Our wonderful community helped us bring smiles to thousands of children and seniors in need throughout our community last December with a donation of pajamas sized newborn to XL teens or a monetary donation of any amount that we used to purchase pajamas in the sizes we still needed.

One of the most wonderful aspects of this program is how it brings together Tustin residents of all ages, our business community, our schools, our nonprofit organizations, service clubs and houses of worship to brighten the season for some of our most vulnerable residents. Together we are truly #TustinStrong

Last year new pajamas were passed on to the Tustin Police Department's Santa Cop program, all of the teens living in the OC Rescue Mission's Hope Harbor Rip Tide and Sea Glass Homes, teens living in the Waymakers Tustin Youth & Transitional Age Crisis Residential Homes and teens and their babies living at Mary's Path, every Little Brother and Little Sister in the Tustin through Big Brothers Big Sisters OC, Tustin Area Senior Center seniors in need, Tustin Family & Youth Center's Holiday Basket program, Tustin Family Resource Center youth, mothers and children living in the Prototypes home, Tustin youth, families and seniors supported by the St. Cecilia Church Community Food Distribution program and Sabil USA, children living in Tustin's Orange County Rescue Mission and residents living at the Tustin Veterans Outpost. In addition, all of the Family Resource Centers at TUSD Title 1 Schools and MOMS OC received pajamas to keep on hand for families in need throughout the year.
