Greetings from the quilt designer! ...A Message From Kat!
With every stitch of this quilt, there lies a purpose. A purpose to spread love through music, to educate ourselves on the life surrounding us, and to band together to support important causes, especially those that include adorable creatures!
I wanted to make this quilt as a thank you to Mid America Freedom Band for bringing music back into my life at the start of 2023. It had been about eight years of keeping my flute tucked away in some dark corner of my closet until I discovered the band and simply fell in love! What perfect timing though since I had just begun learning how to quilt when I joined. (Thank you, mom) I couldn’t let my newest talent go to waste, so I put music and sewing together and here we are.
It has been an absolute pleasure creating the Party Animals Quilt to support our band, our community, and just as importantly, our animal friends!
