Improving Trials and Studies For Better Outcomes

Strengthening Treatments for Rare Cancers


The funds raised through the Grow Hair giving program is 20% of our mission focus and will be granted this year to Nationwide Children's Hospital to support a clinical trial for Relapsed Sarcomas. Donations to the Grow Hair program will give doctors the ability to create safer and more effective treatments for kids fighting rare cancers. 


Outcomes for rare cancers are disheartening because doctors don't understand the makeup of their diseases. The first step in understanding the disease is data.  Tribute grants have been selected for Osteosarcoma, Ewing Sarcoma and Rhabdomyosarcoma.  Donations to the Grow Hair program will fund trials that will help researchers to create better trial designs.
