The Marie Itiowe Empowerment Scholarship is awarded by Golden Experiences, Inc. The scholarship is created to decrease the burden of educational costs for students who are poised to attain a college degree, become empowered, and then empower others.

In Order to apply for our scholarship, follow these instructions:
Scholarship Eligibility:
- Any mother that is between the ages of 20 - 50 who is currently enrolled or will be attending college or university the next academic year.
- A U.S. resident.
- Family qualifies for assistance per the Federal Poverty Guidelines. (Household Income)
- Single mothers will be given preference.
To Apply:
A. Submit a self-written essay about your choice of study and why earning the diploma is important to you. (250 words maximum, 12 font size, Calibri font type - PDF document.)
B. Submit a recommendation letter, which should include the contact information of a professor, or counselor, or religious leader. (Not a family relative.)
C. Complete the Application for Assistance Form.
Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee made up of Golden Experiences Executive Board and Golden Experiences Ambassadors. The decision of the panel will be based on the originality and quality of the essay submitted.
